Giovedì 18 aprile scorso si è conclusa l'esercitazione "Iniochos 2024".
Come per le precedenti edizioni la base principale per le operazioni è stata Andravida, dove sono state rischierate quasi tutte le forze aeree impegnate nelle operazioni.
9 paesi, mai così tanti, hanno preso parte all'esercitazione, l'Inghilterra con gli Eurofighter, gli Stati Uniti con i propri F-16 e alcuni velivoli Predator MQ-9, la Spagna con gi F-18 Hornet, la Francia con i Rafale e AEW E-3F, la Romania sempre con gli F-16, il Qatar con i Rafale, l'Arabia Saudita con gli EFA e il Montenegro e la Repubblica di Cipro, rispettivamente con un elicottero B-414 e un AW-139.
Hanno partecipato inoltre componenti dell'esercito, della marina e forze speciale Greche, insieme ad Austria e Portogallo con il proprio personale dedicato all'intelligence, mentre la Germania ha partecipato come osservatrice.
In totale 1027 sortite con missioni varie in scenari complessi e realistici sia in ambiente diurno che notturno.
Come sempre per l'occasione sono stati organizzati un paio di spotter day a cui ha partecipato il nostro Adriano Dalla Mura che ha coperto la parte fotografica.

Last Thursday, April 18, the "Iniochos 2024" exercise ended.
As in previous editions, the main base for operations was Andravida, where almost all air forces engaged in operations were risked.
Nine countries, never so many, took part in the exercise, England with Eurofighters, the United States with its own F-16s and some Predator MQ-9 aircraft, Spain with F-18 Hornets, France with Rafale and AEW E-3Fs, Romania also with F-16s, Qatar with Rafale, Saudi Arabia with EFAs, and Montenegro and the Republic of Cyprus with a B-414 helicopter and an AW-139, respectively.
Components of the Greek army, navy and special forces also participated, along with Austria and Portugal with their own dedicated intelligence personnel, while Germany participated as an observer.
A total of 1027 sorties with varied missions in complex and realistic scenarios in both day and night environments.
As always for the occasion a couple of spotter days were organized in which our Adriano Dalla Mura participated and covered the photographic part.
